How to Play Binairo

Rules

  • Fill every cell with 0 or 1.
  • No more than two consecutive identical digits in any row or column.
  • Each row and column must contain exactly 6 zeros and 6 ones.
  • No two rows may be identical. No two columns may be identical.

  • Click/tap a cell to cycle: empty → 0 → 1 → empty

Counts

Numbers along the edges show how many 0s and 1s are placed in each row and column. When a count reaches 6 (the maximum), it turns green.

About expert Binairo

Expert Binairo uses a 12×12 grid with 144 cells. Six 0s and six 1s per row and column, and the uniqueness constraint is tight with 12 rows that must all be distinct. Pencil marks (notes mode) become essential for tracking possibilities.

At this level, combine all techniques: consecutive forcing for quick placements, count completion when a digit nears its limit, sandwich patterns for hidden forced cells, and uniqueness elimination when rows or columns look too similar. The puzzles require patience and systematic scanning.
