Ekramul has been solving Sudoku out of the newspaper since he was a child. He reviews Balance and Word Trail here, and he is usually the reason a board gets sent back. His test is not whether a puzzle can be finished. It is whether it can be reasoned through from the first move to the last with nothing left to a guess, and he will sit with the hardest Balance boards until he has done exactly that. Finishing a grid does not interest him much by itself. He is in it for the part where his brain has to work for it. The rest of that energy goes into Sharbuz, where he is building shop software for Instagram and WhatsApp sellers.
