How to Play

Fill the grid so every row and column contains each digit exactly once (Latin square). Cages must satisfy their arithmetic target.

👆

Click a cell to select it, then use the number pad or keyboard to place a digit.

🔲

Each bold-bordered cage shows a target number and operation (+, −, ×, ÷). The digits in that cage must produce the target using that operation.

🚫

No digit can repeat in the same row or column. Conflicts are highlighted in red.

💡

Single-cell cages are freebies — the target is the answer. Start with those and work outward.

🏆

Fill every cell correctly to complete the puzzle. Use clues if you're stuck.

About einstein KenKen

Einstein-level KenKen uses 6×6 grids with L-shaped cages, large cage groups, and configurations designed to resist the standard elimination playbook. These puzzles often require you to reason across multiple cages simultaneously before a single digit can be placed.

If you're stuck, look for "naked pairs" — two cells in the same row that can only contain the same two digits. That eliminates those digits from every other cell in the row. It's an advanced technique borrowed from Sudoku, and it breaks open the toughest grids. If you're solving these consistently, try our einstein Sudoku for a different challenge.
