Killer Sudoku
ExpertAbout expert killer sudoku
Expert killer sudoku gives you zero given digits and cages up to 6 cells. The opening board is completely blank except for cage outlines and sum labels. Everything comes from deduction.
Cage interaction chains are the main addition at this level. When two cages share cells in the same row, their constraints interact. If cage A in row 3 must contain {1, 3, 5} and cage B in the same row must contain {2, 4}, the remaining cells in that row are constrained to {6, 7, 8, 9}. Chain these interactions across intersecting cages and you can eliminate candidates that no single technique would catch.
At this level, solving is slow and methodical. Full candidate lists are not optional. Write down every possibility for every cell, then work through eliminations systematically. The 45 rule, combination filtering, and cage interactions together will crack every expert puzzle. When expert feels manageable, our Einstein puzzles are waiting.
