Easy Shikaku — what to expect

Easy Shikaku uses 5×5 grids with small numbers (typically 1 to 6). Most clues have only one valid rectangle — a "2" in the corner can only extend in one direction, a "1" is just a single cell. This is where you learn the feel of drawing rectangles and checking that each number matches its area.
